The Spectrum of Research and Reviews is a peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing high-quality research, comprehensive reviews, and scholarly analyses in the fields of biosciences, life sciences, and medical sciences. The journal adheres to the highest ethical standards in publishing, ensuring the integrity, transparency, and quality of all research it publishes.

 

1. Research Involving Human Subjects

All research involving human participants, human material, or human data must have been performed in accordance with the principles stated in the Declaration of Helsinki [1].

 

1.1. Ethical Approval and Consent

       Mandatory Approval: For research involving human subjects, authors must ensure that appropriate ethical approval was obtained from the relevant institutional review board (IRB) or ethics committee before the research began.

       Informed Consent: Informed consent must be obtained from all human participants.

       Manuscript Statement: The manuscript must include a statement confirming that ethical approval was obtained and detailing the approving body.

 

2. Research Involving Animals

Research involving animals must comply with ethical guidelines and must have received approval from the relevant institutional ethics committee.

 

       Mandatory Approval: Authors must confirm that all procedures were approved by an appropriate ethics committee.

       Reporting: The manuscript must include a statement confirming compliance with ethical standards for animal research.

 

3. Data Integrity and Transparency

Authors must present their research data honestly and accurately. Any manipulation, falsification, or fabrication of data is unacceptable. All methodologies and results must be transparently presented, and the data should be made available upon request.

 

4. Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses must be registered in a publicly accessible database (e.g., PROSPERO) prior to commencing the review. Furthermore, the reporting of these studies must strictly follow the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines [2] to ensure transparency and completeness in the methodology and findings.

 

5. Authorship and Conflicts of Interest

SRR follows strict guidelines regarding authorship and conflicts of interest. All individuals who have made substantial contributions must be listed as authors, and all authors must disclose any financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could influence their research or its interpretation.
