Information For Authors

The Spectrum of Research and Reviews (SRR) welcomes high-quality, original research articles, reviews, and other scholarly contributions from researchers, academics, and professionals across a wide range of disciplines. As an open-access, peer-reviewed journal, SRR is dedicated to providing authors with a platform to disseminate their work to a global audience.

1. Submission Process

  • Manuscript Submission: Authors can submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission system. Before submitting, authors are encouraged to review the journal’s guidelines to ensure their manuscript meets the formatting and content requirements.

  • Initial Screening: All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening by the editorial team to assess their relevance to the journal’s scope and quality standards.

  • Peer Review: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent for peer review. The journal follows a triple-blind peer review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous during the evaluation.

2. Manuscript Preparation

  • Formatting: Manuscripts should be submitted in a standard format, including:

    • Title page with author details (name, institutional affiliation, email address, ORCID)

    • Abstract and keywords

    • Main text with clear sections (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion)

    • References in the specified citation style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago)

    • Figures and tables should be clearly labeled and properly formatted.

  • Word Limit: While there is no strict word limit, the length of the manuscript should be appropriate for the content. Authors are advised to keep the manuscript concise and clear.

  • Ethical Approval: For studies involving human or animal subjects, authors must provide evidence of ethical approval from the relevant institutional review boards (IRBs) or ethics committees.

3. Article Processing Charges (APC)

  • As an open-access journal, Spectrum of Research and Reviews operates under an Article Processing Charge (APC) model. Authors will be required to pay an APC once their manuscript is accepted for publication. The charge covers the costs of editing, formatting, and hosting the article online.

  • The APC must be paid upon acceptance, and the amount is communicated to authors at the time of acceptance.

4. Peer Review and Revision

  • Review Feedback: Authors will receive feedback from at least two independent reviewers. Reviewers may suggest revisions to improve the manuscript’s quality, clarity, and scientific validity.

  • Revisions: Authors are required to address all reviewer comments and resubmit the revised manuscript. If major revisions are requested, authors should ensure that the revised manuscript meets the reviewers’ suggestions before resubmission.

  • Final Decision: After revisions, the editorial team will make a final decision on the manuscript’s acceptance for publication. This decision will be communicated to the authors.

5. Publication Ethics

  • Originality: Manuscripts submitted to Spectrum of Research and Reviews must be original and not under consideration by any other journal. Authors should avoid self-plagiarism and must ensure proper citation of previous work.

  • Authorship: All authors listed on a manuscript must have made substantial contributions to the research. Corresponding authors are responsible for ensuring that all co-authors approve the manuscript’s submission.

  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest, including financial, personal, or professional relationships, that could influence the content or interpretation of the research.

  • Data and Research Integrity: Authors must ensure the accuracy of the data presented in their manuscript and avoid any form of data manipulation or fabrication.

6. Post-Submission Process

  • Proofs: Once an article is accepted, authors will receive proofs of their manuscript for final review before publication. Authors should carefully review the proofs to correct any typographical or formatting errors.

  • Publication: After final approval, the article will be published online and will be freely available to readers worldwide. The article will be assigned a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for easy citation and access.

7. Rights and Licensing

  • Spectrum of Research and Reviews publishes all content under an open-access license, meaning that the articles are freely accessible and can be shared, distributed, and reused in accordance with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).

  • Authors retain the copyright to their work but grant the journal the right to publish and distribute their article online.

8. Promotion of Published Articles

  • Once published, authors are encouraged to promote their articles through various channels such as social media, academic networks, and institutional repositories.

  • The journal will also promote articles through newsletters and updates to ensure maximum visibility within the academic community.

9. Withdrawal and Corrections

  • If an author wishes to withdraw a manuscript, they must notify the editorial team immediately. Withdrawal requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • If significant errors or ethical issues are identified post-publication, authors may submit a correction or request retraction of the article.

10. Support for Authors

  • The editorial team at Spectrum of Research and Reviews is available to assist authors throughout the submission, peer review, and publication process.

  • Authors can contact the journal’s editorial office for any queries related to manuscript preparation, submission, or other concerns.
