Refund Policy

The Spectrum of Research and Reviews (SRR) operates a transparent and fair refund policy to ensure that authors and contributors are treated with respect and fairness. The following outlines the conditions under which refunds may be considered:

  1. Submission Fees
The journal may charge submission fees for processing manuscripts. However, these fees are non-refundable once the manuscript is submitted, as they cover the costs associated with initial screening, editorial processing, and other related services.

  2. Article Processing Charges (APC)
In cases where an article has been accepted for publication, authors may be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover the costs of open-access publication. This fee is non-refundable once the article has been accepted, as the APC covers production, editing, and publication services.

  3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds will be considered only in cases where the journal is unable to provide the services paid for, such as:

    • Manuscripts not being processed due to unforeseen technical issues or circumstances beyond the journal's control.

    • If a submission or publication is rejected due to journal error or other serious issues on the journal's side, a full or partial refund may be provided.

  4. Request for Refund
If an author believes they are eligible for a refund, they must submit a written request to the editorial office. The request must include relevant details, including proof of payment and the reason for the refund request. All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

  5. Decision on Refunds
Refunds will be processed only after thorough investigation and will be granted at the sole discretion of the editorial team. If the journal determines that a refund is warranted, it will be issued through the same payment method used by the author.

  6. Refunds Not Granted
Refunds will not be issued for:

    • Rejected manuscripts that have been through the peer review process or rejected after final decisions.

    • Manuscripts withdrawn by the author after submission or during the review process.

    • Services rendered for the publication of articles, including formatting, editing, or digital distribution.

    • Requests for refunds made after the article has been accepted for publication or after payment for APC.

  7. Cancellation of Service
Once a manuscript has been accepted and is in the production phase (e.g., copyediting or typesetting), the service cannot be canceled, and the associated fees are non-refundable.
